General

  • You can easily schedule a free phone call or video inquiry session with us. It will be an opportunity to meet us and help you decide if you want to work with our therapists. Start at Schedule Inquiry, where you get to answer a few questions and schedule a session on our online calendar!

  • The entire counseling process is done online. You will have access to our secure portal to schedule appointments, make payments, and receive appointment reminders via email or text.

    All of our counseling sessions are held over video calls at the comfort of your preferred setting. Meaning you will not need to visit a physical office or spend time traveling.

    There is no software to download. We will provide a link and all you need is a browser on your phone, tablet or computer to start the sessions.

  • Our online calendar and video calls are web-based so all you need is a browser on your device (phone, tablet, or computer). Supported browsers include Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox. We recommend to have your browser up-to-date.

    You will also need a microphone and camera on your device and a stable internet connection.

    Counseling is an intimate and non-judgement space dedicated to you. Therefore the setting we recommend should feel safe and private with minimal distractions.

    The limitation of online sessions is we cannot create the physical setting for you. But the upside is you can create it for yourself, customize your physical space to your preference, and can feel better than what a counseling office can provide.

  • The video sessions comply with privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR) and are end-to-end encrypted. The sessions are never recorded, and audio and video data are not stored on any server.

    The online portal which includes the calendar and billing are only accessible when you are logged in with your account. Therefore providing an extra layer of privacy and security.

  • Currently we are not accepting any insurance but exploring international insurances options. Unfortunately, Korean National Insurance does not cover counseling services.

  • We do! We see age 14 and above. Although our therapists have direct experience working with young children, we find telehealth video sessions better suited for older adolescents.

  • Currently we do not offer couples counseling.

  • We do not prescribe any medication, however we will be happy to refer you to local medical doctors who can prescribe medication and provide consultation.

    However, we can suggest medication evaluations if we find it will be beneficial in conjunction with your counseling sessions.

  • We are available from Mondays to Fridays and our hours are variable. We will try our best to meet our clients' availability.


Counseling

  • Our standard sessions are 55 minutes long. We also offer up to 85 minute sessions upon request.

  • We understand counseling sessions may sometimes need to be rescheduled.
    Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled 24 hours before a session start time. However, a flat fee will be charged for late cancellations as well as missed appointments. Exceptions can be made for urgent medical reasons as long as proper documents from medical professionals are provided.
