Parenthood and Parenting

Being a parent is a life changing experience that is uniquely wonderful, but also complex and challenging. We believe parenthood deeply integrates into our self identity, and as at the same time, an extraordinary journey.

We begin with our "before children" self identity. Then we are shaped and molded along the journey  - transforming our whole sense of self. This integration brings tremendous joy, struggles, and anxiety which can be difficult to navigate.

Navigating parenthood alone or even with a partner can have it's limitations. Parenthood is so life changing - in our daily routine, relationships and work -  it is common to leave us overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted.

Focus on the parent

Drawing from extensive work with children and families and personal experience as a parent, we specialize in several key areas to provide counseling support for parents. We focus on the parents because parenting strategies are not enough.

We offer a safe space for parents to work through their emotional processes, integrate parenthood into their overall identity, and receive guidance on setting priorities.

Because let's face it, being a parent is tough, and sometimes we all need extra support to navigate the ups and downs of this incredible journey.
